It is a project for the conservation of the Atlantic Forest and sustainable development through carbon offsetting and encouraging a paradigm shift among local stakeholders, aiming for a more socially, environmentally and economically just and supportive community.

Addressing the issue of climate change and global warming, the Carbono Vivo project provides businesses, residents, and tourists with the opportunity to offset their unavoidable greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through forest restoration, agroecology, and family farming. Thus, we aim to help minimize the climate impact of certain activities, as well as generate additional socio-environmental benefits, such as maintaining biodiversity, increasing water quality and availability, generating income for rural populations, and ensuring food security.
